Niclas Locksen

Niclas is behind virtually all of R3's major film productions and has also worked as a freelancer filming and photographing for major commercial clients. Today he runs the newly started R3 studio, R3's subsidiary focused on photography and film.

Niclas got his first camera when he was ten and has been immersed in photography ever since. Filming came into his own at a later stage as an extension and as another visual area to achieve perfection in.

What inspires Niclas is light and more specifically all the areas it touches. How light shines, falls and the shadows that form in relation. It is constantly changing, constantly complex, which makes it an inexhaustible area of ​​exploration.

When it comes to posters, Niclas is, self-explanatory enough, completely focused on photographic art. But within the category there is a huge breadth. He is equally interested in modern architecture as open landscapes and mountain motifs, and he often creates image series that coherently express a unique narrative.
