Melina Atterflod
Melina is an art director who, from a very early age, learned that creativity knows no boundaries. Her grandfather was both an artist and a photographer, and she believes that she inherited much of her passion for creation from him. Her artistry takes on many forms, ranging from photography to graphic design, with the latter becoming her primary medium of expression.
When asked to describe her style, Melina hesitates at first but eventually settles on one word: playfulness. It often begins with an inspiring color combination that creates harmony. From there, she starts pushing boundaries, exploring the tension between structure and irregularity. Or, as she puts it herself, "there is beauty to be found in the raw and imperfect.”
Melina describes her creative process as fumbling—until she finds her way. The result is graphic compositions characterized by expressive, flowing forms, all tied together by a harmonious color palette. Her work is always personal and, above all, always playful.
